It is no secret that drinking water is essential to your health. Not only does it keep the body moving, it also helps the body to cleanse itself naturally by flushing out toxins.
Although most of us will agree staying hydrated is important, it can be difficult to consume the daily recommended amount (roughly 3.0 liters for men and 2.2 for women). Why? Because people are busy, and for some, water may seem boring. The sad reality is there are many people who drink soda instead of water, which can in turn lead to major health consequences, such as obesity, kidney damage, and elevated blood pressure.1 6 Reasons why water is so important for our bodies 1. Drinking water helps maintain the balance of body fluids. 2. Water can help control calories. 3. Water helps energize muscles. 4. Water helps keep skin looking good. 5. Water helps your kidneys. 6. Water helps maintain normal bowel function. So, in order to flush out toxins and not experience any of the above side effects, it’s pretty clear we need to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. There’s more though—adding essential oils to your drinking water provides antioxidants that help support the cleansing organs and their natural processes to remove even more toxins out of your body. The result—you feel good! Citrus essential oils (lemon, lime, grapefruit, and wild orange) are some of the most preferred to add to water because of their pleasant taste. Citrus essential oils are also high in antioxidants. In a study, lemon and grapefruit essential oils came in 4th and 5th as essential oils exhibiting high antioxidant activity (lavender was 1st). Cleansing aside, there are many more benefits to adding essential oils to our drinking water. Citrus essential oils can also help to energize and uplift your spirits! If you are a person who doesn’t like the taste of plain water, or are trying to cut back on soda, try making your water more appealing by adding flavor to it. Just by adding 1-2 drops of any citrus essential oil to your water will give you a wonderful flavor and help give you that extra mood and health boost. Give it a try! Ho'oponopono is considered by Hawaiians to be the most sacred approach to creating Peace, Love, Health and Happiness in one's daily life. It is an ancient Hawaiian process that allows for the release of problems and blocs that may cause stress, imbalance and disease within oneself.
Ho'oponopono is about creating true freedom and eliminating fears, emotions, ideas and reactions, which contribute to psychological distresses and physical illnesses. The techniques learned will assist in eliminating the conditions that have polluted our existence for so long, much the way we erase useless information stored in a computer. Create your own Ho'oponopono. 4 step process. 1. Cut the cord. Use beam of light, knife, or other imagery. 2. Transmute the energy of the relationship into white light surrounding the person, place or situation. 3. Recycle transmuted energy back to the universe to be used for something else. 4. Fill the hole left in your aura with something which brings you joy. A vision of the new situation or words of affirmation. |
